Essential for chefs, this is a fantastically  flavoured herb ideal with chicken. Dormant though the winter.

Size:  upto 1metre

Form: bushy

Colours: Rarely flowers in the UK. Aromatic long narrow smooth green leaves which have an anise flavour.

Care: needs protection from excessive rain in winter. A sunny warm location is ideal.

Hardiness: Frost Hardy

Growth: upto1 metre, in the right location.

Cultivation tips: Do not allow to become waterlogged.
